Our Crushed Shell (5–20mm) is a natural, decorative landscaping material ideal for pathways, garden beds, driveways, and coastal-themed landscapes. With most shells measuring approximately 10–12mm, this product delivers a consistent, uniform finish while maintaining a natural, organic texture.
Freshly processed shells feature a blend of white, cream, tan, and brown tones. Over time, exposure to sunlight gradually bleaches the shells to a bright, uniform white, creating a striking coastal look. This natural transformation typically occurs over 3–18 months, depending on weather conditions and placement.
Durable and versatile, crushed shell is suitable for general landscaping and can also be bonded with cement for exposed aggregate pathways. It pairs beautifully with native grasses such as Carex Secta or Gossamer Grass, enhancing modern and coastal garden designs. Please note that some fragments may contain sharp edges and may not be suitable for barefoot areas.
