How much water should be added per bag? As a general rule of thumb approximately half to three quarters the amount of water should be added when compared vs the cement content that is being added. So for each bag of concrete mix 1 to 2 litres of water should be perfect. Add the water slowly while mixing to attain the desired consistency, you can always add more water. Try not to add more water than is required to achieve a workable mix - which is when the mix is not too dry or too wet. It should be just workable enough to slowly works it way into and fill the destination hole or boxed area.
