What's inside the bag
Each concrete mix bag contains the aggregate blend plus a separate bag of cement packed inside. When you're ready to mix, simply combine the cement with the aggregate, add water, and mix. Everything you need is in the bag.
Keeping the cement separate means it stays fresh and fully reactive until the moment you open it. Our aggregate is also fresh and non-dried, which means it naturally retains some moisture and typically requires less added water than fully dried alternatives.

How to mix
- Empty the aggregate into a wheelbarrow or mixing vessel
- Open and add the included cement bag - blend the dry ingredients together first
- Gradually add water while mixing: 1.5-2 litres per 20kg bag / 2-2.5 litres per 25kg bag
- Stop when you reach a firm, workable consistency - the mix should hold its shape but flow slowly into your formwork
- Place and finish promptly
Add water gradually. Our aggregate is fresh and non-dried, so it may already hold some natural moisture, especially in winter. You may need less than you expect.
